When to sell...

I'm sitting here thinking about my portfolio. I didn't lock in some gains at a higher level. I've given a lot back to the market. I'm trying to find the right approach.

Here are some suggestions:

1. Keep raising stops daily to yesterday's low.
PRO: Locks in gains if any signs of weakness is show.
CON: The stop might be too tight causing stops to trigger.
