Fear of lower stocks

NEW is down after a downward guidance revision. I remember several stocks that I like but that drop considerably and I didn't buy them. RATE and TXN are two that come to mind.

NEW was up today and I don't know if I should by it. One solution to overcome fear is to stop and think. OK, I'm thinking. Why am I fearful of buying this stock again? It corrected from 50 down to 42 or so. Is there much downside from here? No, based on the stock direction today. I like the dividend the stock pays. I could gradually get into it by buying a little at a time.
