Improving Skills

Lately, I've been working on different areas of the production process. One magazine that has been real helpful is ComputerMusic. Its a UK based publication but most of the major bookstores carry it. Last night I was working with a new effect plug-in to make my tracks sound richer, more professional. Lastweek, I've been reading about synths (Additive, Subtractive, FM, and Wavetable).

My first song

A friend of mine asked me to help him out with some lyrics to a song. He supplied me with the track. Yesterday, I finally finished writing it; the first draft at least. I'm proud to have done this. I'll post a link to it once I have it recorded by someone who can sing. My vocal skills are not very good. :-)
